Biography
In 1994, Bob Eisenstein met Anouk Adrien and this gave birth to the band VICTOR SIERRA. Beno?t Regnard (keyboards-singer) and Jean-Fran?ois Aimable (percussion) joined them a few months later. In 1996, ''Khamsin'' their first album was released. It was self-produced and mixed by Gilles Martin. ''Khamsin'', has now been released all over the country. At the time Victor Sierra performed at the ''Tansmusicales de Rennes'' and their new single ''Pitchipo?'' came out. Through gigs and public performances, their music has grown richer and their mix of techno, industrial music and oriental melodies more subtle. In 1997, Victor Sierra performed in Spain and Belgium, in several concert halls in Paris and at festivals. Another single, ''Ha-vak'', was then released but Beno?t quited the band. In 1998, first techno-Parade, Jean-Luc Borde, a violin player, joined in. Designers asked Victor Sierra to create original sound-tracks for their art exhibitions. New single, ''El Calor'' was thus created. In 1999, they worked in their studio night and day for the creation of ''Yargon'', their new CD. Jean-Fran?ois quitted the band. They decided to go on as a trio and two satellites are born: ARKADIN and IN-SYNC. After months of crazy preparation, their project for the 1999 Techno-parade was carried out. This proved a wonderful opportunity to welcome long time friends; Raeo from Barcelona, with whom they performed electronic and acoustic improvs. Next came their performance at the Batofar, lightened by V-jay Tancrede''s video-mixes and enlightened by Lolita''s oriental dancing.
