Biography

From their very earliest whisperings back in '97, Tung have come a long long way. '98 saw the line up finalised (as it remains to this day) and a commitment to the development of the band was set. Constant touring and writing schedules were set and maintained, the results of which will be seen and heard throughout this year, but before we get ahead of ourselves, a quick re-cap of last year'

Y2K was a fantastic year for Tung'

The first official Tung (self financed & produced) EP- 'This is Your Enemy' was released (900 copies sold)
Tung broke the 100 gig barrier, with practically all shows in industry recognised venues
A sold out 'mini' tour with The Bloodhound Gang, taking in London Astoria, Leeds Uni/Glasgow Barrowlands and Dublin Vicar St
Radio One evening session play and a session session, 4 Tung tracks recorded and broadcast in Nov
At their request, A Radio One evening session christmas rapping 'cover'. 'We Three Kings' broadcast on the last show of the year
Two Tung tracks available free on cover mount Cd's, Metal Hammer and MP3 magazines
Coverage in Melody Maker (maker breaker), Kerrang (live reviews), Metal Hammer (check 'em out), The Big Issue (full page interview), Making Music (In the City coverage) plus countless local and national fanzines, mags & papers
