2004 is represented by a gorgeous track from Lisa Stansfield's album 'The Moment', notable as the first time she had used an outside producer in 15 years.In between we have generation defining recordings from ABC and Frankie Goes To Hollywood; classic pop twenty years apart from Dollar and taTu; an unlikely hit for Yes; innovation and invention in the form of 'Buffalo Gals'; a timeless dance classic from Grace Jones and a man whose entire career has seen him hand-in-hand with Trevor, Seal. Showing the sheer diversity of his production cannon, we also include alternative rock from The Frames and Belle & Sebastian, a beautifully realised Shane MacGowan ballad and hugely influential recordings from Art of Noise. Trevor was one of the originators of the 12 inch remix from a time when the term really meant remix - a number of these versions including, 'Look Of Love' and 'Beat Box' are currently commercially unavailable elsewhere.
