Biography
The Raiders came together in Leeds, England in 1960. Initially playing Ventures / Shadows-style instrumental music, the band developed into a full rock, blues and R & B unit as the Beatles-led British invasion conquered the world.
These ultra-rare recordings feature the 1964 line-up of John Armistead (bass), Beau Midgley (lead guitar), Ralph Sims (drums), and Robin White (rhythm guitar).
Beau Midgley went on to record - as Beau and later, John Trevor - for John Peel''s Dandelion label in the late ''60s and early ''70s.
