Biography
The jumpjets are Gareth Powell, Johnny Jet
and Calumn Mackay. They play guitar-driven indie rock, influenced by Suede, Placebo, Radiohead and Foo Fighters. Using strong melodies, hook-laden guitars and thumping good drumming in their songs about life, love and girls with Orange Hair, the jumpjets first album A Little Bit Happy rocks! Gareth''s soaring guitar parts and harmonies, Johnny''s (aka Jon Phillips) lyrics of yearning and unrequited lust, and Calumn''s driving rhythmns combine to form a unique indie-pop-rock soundscape. The album A Little Bit Happy was recorded by the band in a small studio in Grenoble, France.
