In 1980 Jack released his first solo album ''''Humanesgue'''', Blackmore guesting on one of the tracks. It was an immediate hit on the RCA record label in Canada and the USA, bringing critical acclaim and a gold disc.
Next came the album ''''Reverse Logic'''' then ''''Mystique'''', from which the track ''''Walking in my sleep'''' became the first solo hit for the ''''WHO''s'''' Roger Daltry.
