Biography
Bittersweet and blue, these songs tell you some of the stories of a life. They express loss and longing, but their melodies have hope and space and spirit.Mostly guitar, but joined with trumpet and piano and singing brought by some of my friends in the Happiest of Accidents, I wrote them in a number of towns, from Colchester to Brighton, Oxford to London. They can still take me back to particular places - travelling through the night by train, mucking about on the Ridgeway, a dark room down a backstreet within sound of the sea. Maybe they will do this for you. The Happy Accidents are: Matthew Lockwood - singing, guitar, bass, keyboards, samplers; Neil Chuirchman - singing; cecilia Healey - singing; Martin Wall - trumpet. All songs written by Matthew Lockwood ...and finally, all this music was recorded with renewable energy, mostly coming from Danish windfarms. Can''t you tell?
