The Apostles - the brainchild of one GAVIN KING, lead singer with Private Dicks (visit their peoplesound page and their website) and now the proud recipient of multitudinous praise for his new solo vocal album Burning Bridges also on peoplesound - taste and try . . .These three APOSTLE albums - were recorded with various musicians over a period of one week each, As the story goes inspired by intensely strong anti-inflammatories prescribed for guitar shoulder (don''t ask) whilst Miracle was inspired by the arrival of a miracle which confirmed my belief that this is how life should be lived - believe there is a miracle around the corner and someday there will be. Singing - the lowest form of Communication is about the damage and the aftermath. As the story goes is harder, more direct, instrumental music dominated by great guitar work. Miracle is gentler, more laid back, more sensual. Both should be listened to late at night in a complete mess. Singing is an amalgalm of growth and desperation. If you like the Apostles try another of Gavin''s alter-egos - Harry Beekay - more melodic, slightly wackier perhaps but for those into the Apostles . . .
