Biography
Richard Waters is a songwriter of integrity and power seldom heard in
today''s music, with a voice resembling early Steve Windwood, he sings
songs reminiscent of Neil Young and Crazy Horse or Bob Dylan and The
Band.
Emotionally damaged but uplifting, these songs are traditionally
eclectic, but could easily stand alongside contemporaries, such as
David Gray or Ryan Adams.
The band is forceful and impressive, but always faithful to the song, this
music is raw but intelligent, timeless and true.
Sweeney Todd have recently performed for Radio One
