Ms Lolley flirts heavily with the summery sounds of West Coast 60s America on the lightweight and frivolous Somehow It All Went Wrong. A bevy of period sounds filched from the recesses of Brian Wilson's cavernous mind. Xylophones and old-school electric piano compete with modern beats to create a sound of innocence and retro abandon, with Sophia sounding as prim as Doris Day yet as strange as Nancy Sinatra. Definitely one for the Indigo Rooms man'(BrynR)

Biography
STOP PRESS: I keep meaning to do this, but then everything always goes so freakily. BUT I''m doing my first ever gig! On Sunday at the Portabello Film Festival in London. You can check out the festival on the net if you like and get all the details. But I think that Sunday 4th August is Westbourne Pk Studios. I THINK. But you''d better check. So, there I start, but it this isn''t long enough notice, then why don''t you come and see my At ''Club Montepulciano'' (you can check them out on the net too) in London on the 24th August, and that will be my second gig, so it could be a bit better. I''m looking forward to both of them, and it would be adorable if you came, and told me that you''d read about them on peoplesound. I think I must be a lazy girl, because I have never done a biography, maybe because I think it probably doesn''t need one. But then, one could be fun! I''ve only just begun and I''m waffling already. Well, I''ll put on a couple more tracks on to this, tell you a bit about what''s already here and what I''m up to now, and try and get a few photos on here too. Well, these tracks come from a 10 track album that isn''t released, the album was recorded on an incredibly low budget, and it was my first time ever in a studio. Ofcourse, if I could change things now I would, but basically I still love it and I think that''s important. Well, since these tracks, I''ve been working with James Taylor of James Taylor Quartet, we did a couple of songs together which I think are wonderful (because JTQ are wonderful) . I''ve also been working with Bently Rythm Ace which has been very good fun. The Bently''s did some remixes of my tracks, and we''ve been working on new ones together, and they should be on their next album I''m off to London to work with somemore people there too, for a more ''leftfield'' sound, I''ve written more tracks. So, there''s plenty in the pipeline which is lovely, and when I''ve got anything decent enough to put here, then I shall. I promise that l
