The Skandi Girls' debut single Do The Can Can is annoyingly catchy. Love it or loathe it, this is a single you won't be able to escape this winter. With bucket loads of energy, the Skandi Girls are bringing back the much-needed excitement, glamour and fun to planet pop. Do The Can Can is set to be the ultimate party anthem of the year. The tune is instantly recognisable and very hard to forget. From school halls to office parties there will be no getting away from it. There's going to be stiff competition in the charts this December - Skandi Girl Lene says, 'What Band Aid are doing is fantastic but we want to put some fun back into Christmas!'The Scandinavian foursome (Skandi - geddit?!) were spotted by Blue's manager dancing in Caf? De Paris last summer. This isn't the only Blue connection, as professional dancers the Skandi Girls have strutted their stuff on stage with the boys as well as dancing in their videos. The Skandi Girls made their debut at London's G-A-Y last month. The crowd loved them so much, promoter Jeremy Joseph asked them to come back on-stage for an encore. National television exposure is on its way after producers at BBC Children In Need heard the track and booked them for the live broadcast. Catch the Skandi Girls doing the can can on BBC1 on Friday 19th November. The girls caused mayhem all over London when they shot their video last week. They were running round in frou-frou skirts and fishnet stockings and doing the can can with tourists, traffic wardens, policemen, builders - whoever they could find! This looks like the start of something very exciting for the Skandi Girls. Watch this space!
