South African born pianist Philip Clouts, known for his work with his seven-piece band ''Zubop'', has developed a more intimate performance context with this trio. The material is strongly influenced by African and South American music, both in original compositions and works by others such as Hugh Masaketa, Hitton Ruiz, AbduHah lbrahim and Paquito d''Rivera.
