Biography
Pantagruel is a music band that exhibits the songs arranged by Orazio
Carnazzo.
Orazio Carnazzo arranged, played, recorded and mixed all the songs of ''Evviva la guerra'' CD (sung by Mario Crisafulli, Serena Vernole and Antonio Livoti). He was born in Sicily where he has been studying and exploring the Sicilian popular music for a lot of years.
Recently he added in his songs also non acoustic instrumentations (keyboard, electric guitar, bass...). So, an interesting and original genre
was born:
As Sicily was dominated by many peoples (Spanish, Greek, French,
Arabian...), the culture of the island can be considered as a mixture of a
lot of ethnic contaminations.
Orazio Carnazzo''s songs mirror, then, the culture, feelings and especially
passionateness of this island.
