Moostash is now known as Marinelli.
Marinelli is an innovative new solo artist based in the UK. He has been involved in singing, song writing and performing in bands for 10 years, and during this time he has amassed an impressive collection of songs, which have developed as his skill as a musician has grown.
During this time his music has covered a range of musical styles/influences and his efforts have met with a considerable amount of success. More recently Marinelli was the driving force behind Moostash, a 3-piece acoustic dance group. It was within this group that Marinelli’s metamorphosis from simple singer-songwriter and guitarist, to electronic junkie began. The huge scope that digital recording had to offer was a great influence in developing a new style of music which looked to incorporate live instruments with dance beats and obscure sampling. A good deal of interest was shown for this unusual collection of material. Now working as a solo artist, Marinelli has taken the project one step further taking influences from a range of contemporary dance styles. Within the last year collaboration with producer Stuart Wakeman from Reelsounds Studios has seen the music move into a more commercial vain, with the launch of the ‘Starlight’ LP. This collection of innovative songs features the unmistakable vocals, live samples and distinctive writing style that have now become the trademarks of Marinelli’s work.
