Biography
The Mau-Maus are undoubtedly one of the hottest bands around right now. Having just signed to the fabulous Boobytrap Records (co-run by Huw Stephens, Radio 1 this six piece, London based band are a long awaited breath of fresh air. They are presently dazzling the London gig circuit, and building a passionate legion of followers with their intoxicating sound of chunky R&B, extravagant hip-hop, cut-up-classical and spiky alt-rock. All this carried off while maintaining a seductive pop sensibility. Live, they are sexy, slick and energetic with a goodly portion of their tongues in their chic.
