Utterly smooth vocal and soulful R&B with an almost ambient edge - not unlike the stellar ''Sunshine'' from Alexander O''Neal''s ''Criticise'' album. Mellow and relaxing, and all finished off with Mark Antonio''s vibrato laden voice.

Mark started playing piano at age six, While still in primary school he recorded with artists such as Brinsley Ford, (Aswad), Junior English, Jimmy London, Gregory Issacs and other popular reggae acts of that time. He soon started singing and writing his own songs, a few of which were recorded. His father, a producer for Jet Star allowed his access to these artists and the studio.

During high school, he joined a band called Fiction who played at school concerts. When the band broke up, he and one other member continued recording and formed another band called Network,. Network was signed to Chrysalis publishing for two years. After this, he and his father formed The Swat Band. They toured all over England and released records on their own label with a fair amount of success on the reggae scene.

When the band ended Mark joined BB Productions as a songwriter/artist and producer. He also started working with Ritchie Rich, (DJ/producer), for Gee Street records. They formed a group and released a song and video called 'Feel It' on their own independent label. The video was aired on MTV. As a result of its popularity, Ritchie landed a spot as the presenter of The Soul of MTV for which Mark sang the opening title song. Mark landed a writers deal with Gee Street Records.

He also worked with Soul II Soul and Jazzie B on a cover of Phil Collins hit 'In the air tonight'

Mark has now decided to concentrate on a solo career and has written two albums worth of material. He's now in the process of developing his career and working to get a deal so keep an eye out for this one, a definite success story in the making.
