Biography
London Labyrinth has been in existence since the mid-nineties. Although there have been many collaborators and contributors, Glyn Wilcox is the only permanent member. His roots as a songwriter in earlier indie bands combined with the power and freedom he has found in sampling and computing brings an impressive range of colours to the music.
London Labyrinth''s highly original, contemporary sound avoids clich?s and weaves a textured digital fabric that is more colourful than indie and more organic than dance. Melody, however, is never far away and tracks are often graced with soaring female vocals of either the real or virtual kind.
Earth Star is an album of contrasting textures: electronics and performance, beats and ambience, sonics and songs and was written to address the needs of restless, discerning listeners with open minds.
