John Terzino
Genre: Folk Rock and Blues
John''s talents include: Singer, songwriter, composer, musician (guitar
keyboard, drums, harmonica, and bass guitar.)
I was raised in me sleepy little town of Laporte, Indiana, which I still call
home. I ve been writing songs and playing the guitar since high school but
ontly got serious about it after losing my leg to a blood disease. I have listened
to the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Dylan since I was a child I''m also
partial to CSN&Y in any configuration, Tom Petty, the Doors, Pink Floyd
andJethro Tull, When I was 16 years old, I rode a bicycle from my home to
the Atlantic Ocean and back. It opened my eyes to a much bigger world than
I had previously known. When I was 29,I watched my mother die of cancer
It opened my heart to a sadness I had not previously known. When I was 35,
I got divorced It opened my eyes to a coldness I had not previously known ''
When I was 39,I lost my leg. It opened my eyes to a determination I had not
previously known. My mother and father adopted me and I love them both
dearly. But when I was 40 years old, I searched for, and found, my biological
mother. I opened my eyes and there she was. It has brought me great comfort
and joy Just before turning 41,I met Kim. She is the love I have been
looking for all of my life. It opened my eyes to a happiness I had only
previously imagined. And so, here we are today. I spend all my time writing
and playing my guitar. It''s a good life. Peace'.
