Biography
JLS (James Louis Sounds) are James Salt and Louis Rodgers, both art students/bedroom DJ's, which formed in 2000. Making music started out as a hobby, one day we just decided to have a go at producing our own tracks, so we chipped in and brought our first music package and we've never looked back since. The tracks we have included on the CD vary in style, we both work individually so the difference in style is quite noticeable. We tend to overlook the finished tracks and pass judgement on each other's work; we'll often add our own ideas after. Louis' style is tough and cutting (Blistering Beats) whilst my music is more euphoric (Nice One), which means that JLS, as an act, can appeal to many different people. If I was asked to pigeon hole JLS' style I would describe it as energy driven hard trance: Fast paced combining strong driving beats with cheesy melodic riffs, breaks, build-ups and frantic peaks designed to get the blood pulsing. We recommend you turn your system upto its highest setting as our tracks intend to be played REALLY LOUD! Anyway enough of the small talk, let the music speak for itself...
