Biography
Iceberg Slimm is one of the UK's most prominent and illustrious rappers. Growing up in Hackney, East London in a family of 6 brothers and sisters has given Ice a unique perspective on inner city life and this background gives his rhymes an added dimension. Using his experience of performing in many east London clubs and jams led to Ice's debut single 'Nursery Rhymes' becoming a top 30 hit single in 2000. In 1999 he co-founded, 'Frojak Entertainment' designed to nurture and sign new young talent. He consolidated his rep with a series of underground tapes and 12" mixes for the likes of Beverley Knight, Hill St Soul and Kele Le Roc. This year Ice has been busy. He was guest rapper on Raghav's top 10 smash, 'Can?t Get Enough' and his own debut album, 'Da World On Ice' was released on the underground.
