Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
Green Day release 'Boulevard Of Broken Dreams' on November 29th as the second single to be taken from their all-conquering new album 'American Idiot'. The single is a pivotal moment in the intricately detailed album concept, portraying an anguished sense of alienation with one of Green Day's most powerful and tender moments to date.

American Idiot
'American Idiot' is classic Green Day - raging with the aggression and infectiousness that has typified their biggest hits and best loved material. Topically it tees up the album perfectly, taking a perfectly timed crack at the culture of fear and propaganda as spread by the American news media.

Biography

Produced by Rob Cavallo, 'American Idiot' - the first new studio album from the band in four years - is not only Green Day's most ambitious album to date, but also perhaps one of the most audacious efforts in the history of punk. Centred around two five-part, nine minute epics ('Jesus Of Suburbia' and 'Homecoming'), 'American Idiot' is an expansive and intimately crafted concept album, detailing the alienation and disillusionment of the American citizen under Bush's post-War On Terror administration.

The band have just finished headlining the Reading and Leeds Festivals.
