Biography
I was born in a snow-storm in 1947 in The Black Country. As a boy I sung in churches and cathedrals from Worcester to St Pauls. Got me a geetar out of my first pay packet. I done played that thing in bars all over the country. I set out to be just about the finest geetar player that ever there was. OK maybe I didn’t get there. But can you do this stuff?
Me I done the NEC three times as a bass player, played Brecon Jazz Festical twice, had residences in bars in Stourbridge. Trucked all over this beer sodden country – done the Bulldog Bash – played in this band, that band, and Z94.3 Radio Station in Windsor, Colorado, USA is playing my work this year. Oh yeah – yeehah – played Notts Americana twice. There’s the blues and there’s twaddle. Take yer pick.
