The Fallen was recorded as part of the Franz's album sessions in Scotland and New York with acclaimed producer Rich Costey. The single includes a brand new track - L. Wells - recorded a couple of weeks ago in Melbourne, Australia.

Michael will be accompanied by Missing You, a track recorded in Germany in May of this year, live favourite Love and Destroy and Don't Start, recorded during the bands album sessions in Malmo with Tor Johannsen. The single also features a new version of Tell Her Tonight, on which drummer Paul Thomson provides vocals in German.

	Biography The single was recorded in Scotland in the spring of this year as part of the bands album sessions with production credits being shared between the band and Rich Costey. Recorded fast and simply (the way records used to be, and generally should be made), the album was completed in the famous Avatar Studios (Chic, Bowie, Roxy Music) in New York City in June. Franz Ferdinand are: Alex Kapranos (vocal / guitar), Nick McCrathy (vocal / guitar / keyboards), Bob Hardy (bass) & Paul Thomson (drums).
