Biography
FOGGY ECHOES is a new musical vision that we have Personally established. There are presently over 5,000 distinct ethnic groups that exist within the many countries of the Asian continent. Even today various oral traditions such as legends, chants, and religious stories, which have all been passed down over the last 3,000 years, still echo deep in jungles and forests of Asia. FOGGY ECHOES would like to provide people in the world with the chance to wander around this exciting world. While technically advanced, we can still be thought of as uninhibited art-researchers of untraveled lands. We possess a unique window looking into a world of unknown music and the eternal beauty of the human voice. The people of Asia maintain a diverse range of thoughts and experiences that have developed over their long history. This is due to both differences in ideologies and the vicissitudes between confrontation and harmony which have been caused by constant cultural and political changes. FOGGY ECHOES'' mission is to reconstruct the voices of Asian people and to capture the true Asian spirit.
The amazing point of our music is its ability to create a very modern electronic and acoustic sound from the collage of various traditional Asian music which has been orally passed down through the generations. We feature the music of those regions whose environments have not been polluted by modern civilization. In addition, we strive to deliver a valuable ecological message. We want to remind our listeners about the greatness of our beloved Asian nature. FOGGY ECHOES is not simply a music band, but rather, we are a new musical generation system which is based on the traditional characteristics of music from the Asian countries. The artists that will be featured in FOOGY ECHOES will change continuously. The members of FOGGY ECHOES will mainly centre around the music of a Japanese artist (Masa Hachiman, the pioneer), but will also be supported by the many talents of other artists from both overseas and Japan. By doing this, we want to keep our music at a global standard level for many years to come.
