Working with Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy on songs for his new album, Donny Osmond discovered an unorthodox method of songwriting that has produced his new single. 'We would start writing each song in my studio at home, which overlooks my swimming pool. Then I'd pipe the first verse and the chorus through the speakers that surround the pool and we'd all jump in and write the second verse in the water.That spontaneous feeling was captured on the single BREEZE ON BY' which was Donny's first single release in over a decade and also marked Donny's debut as a singer-songwriter. The song was a huge hit with everyone who heard Donny perform it on his Summer Nights Tour' in the summer, and the expectation for new material from Donny was confirmed when BREEZE ON BY' became a top 10 single in September this year.
