Daily are a collective of five(5)
Brighton gentlemen of varying ages. After many years of searching, not
knowing quite what they where looking for, they all found each other in the
same pub, on the same day, drawn to each other by the unique fact that they
where all carrying instruments. Apart from Julian(vocals) who just stood
there crooning to himself.
Daily are in the unenviable position
of having to start court proceedings against a number of well known musical
groups such as Elbow, Radiohead, Shudder to think, Pearl Jam, Reef, Gomez
and several hundred other bands for somehow employing time travel and
journeying from the present to the recent past with copies of our self
financed releases and basing successful rip off cover style on our hard work
and unique musical stylings. Fear not, we shall overcome !!
From early on, they all agreed that
they did not like the 'two for one' boyband mentality that had ruined the
worlds once semi refined musical tastes, and so, based upon an idea vomited
from within their hive like collective, they decided to do something about
it.
Using their long learned skills of
musicianship coupled with a healthy dose of patience, they have come up with
an unusual plan, wrought not from blood, sweat and tears but from a direct
consequence of Paul's (guitarist) one and only 17(seventeen) day and night
tantrum.
The plan was and still is simple:
