Biography
Hi my name is Craig Gatford and I come from southwest Scotland. I have been singing in bands for over fifteen years now and have been writing my own material for about ten of those years.
I more recently got involved with getting my music recorded and out on an album called 'This One''s For You', which includes some ballads and soft rock tracks. I am very pleased with the outcome which was recorded in a small studio near where I stay and I must give much praise to Beaufort Productions and Malcolm Dunn (Producer) for the quality of the album which was recently reviewed by Record Buyer magazine who said :
''A worthy effort from a would be Brit country contender who could conceivably make a mark in the future.''
I have recently recorded some new material in a more acoustic fashion with the emphasis on acoustic guitar and while it may not have the big band sound, the tracks are very easy to listen to, which is what they are supposed to be like as I think that my songs should tell a story that everyone can relate to.
I am at present looking for a recording/distribution deal for the rest of my material whilst gigging as much as I can to let people hear my music and would like to thank all those people who have so far bought the album and those who continually support me by turning up and enjoying my music at the gigs. I hope you like the sound of the downloads that are available on this site.
