Biography
'Voice' is a mixed bag of classic songs. It includes standards such as The Man I Love, Cry Me A River and Michel Legrand's Windmills of Your Mind. Songs, which evoke memories from Moyet's childhood Jacque Brel's La Chanson des Vieux Amants, Bye Bye Blackbird, and The Wraggle Taggle Gypsies O! alongside material by Elvis Costello, (a personal favourite of Moyet's), Burt Bacharach and classical composers Bizet and Purcell.'Voice' further showcases Moyet's tone and phrasing, her eclectic tastes, and above all - her voice at its best.
