Taking inspiration from the deep-field dub techno of the Berlin school, a sound popularized by Mauritzio of Basic Channel fame, Agent Cooper provides a skillful slice of deep listening in Transmission. Like fellow acolytes of a patient, repetitive minimalism like Process and G-man (Gez Varley ex of L.F.O) Agent Cooper sets down a bottomless low-end throb that creates an immersive underwater ambience peppered with rhythmic clicks and surface tension.
